A Toledo man charged with lying to police investigating the disappearance of an East Toledo toddler entered a not guilty plea today in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Steven King II, 23, of 704 Federal St., is charged with obstructing justice in the June 2 disappearance of 19-month-old Elaina Steinfurth. Mr. King is the boyfriend of the little girl’s mother, Angela Steinfurth, who also is charged with obstructing justice in the case.

Judge Ruth Ann Franks set Mr. King’s case for trial on Sept. 16.
