City man sentenced for firearms assault

A Toledo man was sentenced Thursday to four years and two months in prison for shooting another man in March.

Corey L. Riley, 32, of 4429 Burnham Ave. was sentenced by Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Ruth Ann Franks following his conviction for aggravated assault with a firearms specification.

Riley shot Victor Hunt, 46, of Toledo on March 9 in an alley in the 1400 block of Prouty Avenue in South Toledo.
