A Toledo man who held up an East Toledo Subway restaurant pleaded guilty Tuesday to robbery.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Gene Zmuda then placed Jason Gayer, 36, of 1211 Starr Ave., on community control for five years and ordered him to spend six months in the Correctional Treatment Facility in Toledo, perform 200 hours of community service, pay $100 restitution to Subway, and submit to random drug testing.

Gayer admitted he robbed the restaurant at 648 Main St. on July 6.
