A registered nurse charged with stealing drugs from her former employer has been placed on community control for two years.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings also ordered during a hearing Wednesday that Andrea Young, 38, of 3210 N. Reach Dr., Oregon, continue drug treatment and ingest no drugs or alcohol.

Ms. Young pleaded guilty last month to theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, for stealing prescription medication between Nov. 1, 2012, and Jan. 8 from Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, where she worked.
