Findlay man charged in death of infant son

FINDLAY — A Findlay man was arrested Friday on a warrant and charged with the death earlier this week of his six-week old son. Jerrod Hartman, 24, was charged with involuntary manslaughter and is being held in the Hancock County jail.

Findlay police were called to 321 Third St. about 7 a.m. Monday. When they arrived, the infant, James Hartman, was not breathing, police said.

The baby was taken to Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center, where he was pronounced dead.
