BOWLING GREEN -- A Liberty Center man entered Alford pleas today to two counts of endangering children in the March 1, 2012 death of a 2-year-old Bowling Green girl.

Nathan Brenner, 36, was then found guilty of the charges by Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex, who sentenced him to 11 years prison.

Brenner had been scheduled to go to trial Jan. 6 on charges of murder, involuntary manslaughter, and two counts of child endangering for the death of Emma Zehnpfennig. As part of the plea agreement, the murder and involuntary manslaughter charges were dismissed.

Young Emma, the daughter of Brenner's girlfriend, died from abusive head trauma.
