Wearing a black tactical vest and carrying an empty holster and handcuffs, a Toledo man went into an east side gas station on Saturday and screamed to employees and customers that he was carrying a gun.

Robert Keesey, 64, of 2703 Densmore Dr. is charged with inducing panic and two counts of assault. He was arraigned Monday in Toledo Municipal Court and pleaded not guilty to all three charges. He is in the Lucas County jail in lieu of $7,500 bond.

While he was in Sunoco, 615 Oak St., Saturday night, he threw gasoline on Steven Wilson, 52, and Michael Singh, 41, according to court records. Court records allege Mr. Keesey also beat Mr. Wilson.
