The third of four men charged in the May 18 shooting death and robbery of a local carryout owner was arraigned Tuesday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court.

Adam Anderson, 20, of 2436 Fulton St. is charged with murder, felonious assault, and aggravated burglary in the death of James Safadi, 34, at his South River Road home in Waterville Township.

Two co-defendants — Ronald Rooker, 32, and James Allen, 18 — also are being held in the Lucas County jail awaiting trial on charges relating to the homicide.

Authorities still are looking for a fourth suspect in the case, Phillip Allen, Jr., 22, was indicted for aggravated murder, aggravated burglary, and aggravated robbery but remains at-large.

Detective Jeff Kozak of the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office urged anyone with information about Mr. Allen’s whereabouts to contact the Crime Stopper hotline, 419-255-1111, or call Toledo police or the sheriff’s office “immediately. We consider him very dangerous.”
