Toledoan gets 4 life sentences for raping young girl

A Toledo man convicted of raping a young girl was sentenced today to four life sentences without the possibility of parole.

Hugo Ramallo, 48, of 327 Swift Ave., also was classified as a sex and child victim offender by Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Gary Cook.

Ramallo was found guilty Jan. 16 of four counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition following a jury trial in which both he and the young victim took the stand.
