No charges for officer who shot man
2/1/2014A Lucas County grand jury Friday chose not to bring any charges against a Toledo police officer who shot and injured a South Toledo man who brandished a gun at officers in September.
Officer Kevan Toney fired twice at Steven Hall, 53, after police were called to his Airline Avenue home Sept. 27 for a domestic disturbance. Police said Hall was shot once in the thigh after he ignored orders to drop his gun.
