Man receives probation for domestic violence

BOWLING GREEN — A former Florida man accused of deliberately crashing into a car in which his wife was a passenger has been placed on informal probation for two years.

Donnie Hill, 51, who now lists an address of 2550 Heather Hills Rd., Toledo, pleaded guilty before Wood County Common Pleas Judge Robert Pollex earlier this month to an amended charge of domestic violence.

Mr. Hill had been indicted by a Wood County grand jury for felonious assault following a July 22 car crash on I-75 at Buck Road in Rossford in which his wife was injured.
