A Toledo man who shot two men during a robbery a year ago was sentenced Friday to 14 years in prison.

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Linda Jennings gave Deangelo Gott, 20, of 2861 Detroit Ave. credit for 342 days he has spent in the county jail.

Gott pleaded guilty Sept. 30 to robbery and felonious assault for an incident March 8, 2013, in which Trayvon Sutton, 20, was robbed and shot in the chest during a party in the 3900 block of Vermaas Avenue.

A second victim, Kevin Coffey-Fench, 17, was shot in the leg.

Gott later tried to withdraw his guilty plea, but Judge Jennings denied that motion last month.
