The jury deciding the case of a Toledo woman charged with the aggravated murder of her infant son deliberated all day today without reaching a verdict.

The nine men and three women opted to go home just before 5:30 p.m. and return at 8 a.m. Friday to resume their deliberations.

Ms. Bacon, 26, of 504 W. Alexis Rd., is charged with aggravated murder, murder, and endangering children in the Dec. 18, 2012 death of her 6-month-old son, Avery Glynn Bacon. On the witness stand, she denied hurting her son but instead accused Frank Jones, a man she was living with at the time, of inflicting the fatal injuries.

Before adjourning for the day today, the jury asked the court to provide a transcript of Mr. Jones’s testimony. Judge Frederick McDonald said it would be prepared by Friday for them to review.
