N. Toledo man draws 6-month sentence for breaking into business

A North Toledo man charged with breaking into the same business three times was sentenced Thursday to six months in the Correctional Treatment Facility in Toledo.

Larry Compton, 44, of 2803 117th St. also was placed on community control for four years by Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Dean Mandros.

Compton pleaded guilty last month to breaking and entering and grand theft for incidents Jan. 11 and Feb. 3 at T.I.G. Auto Repair, 2415 N. Summit St.

Two additional counts of breaking and entering were dismissed as part of a plea agreement. A restitution hearing in the case is to be held at a later date.
