Local man accused of making meth

A Toledo man who was arrested in 2012 after police found what they believed was a mobile methamphetamine lab in his car has been indicted on charges he was manufacturing the drug in his apartment.

Vincent Doyle, 31, and Angelique Kidd, 41, both of 1933 W. Alexis Rd., were indicted by a Lucas County grand jury this week on charges of illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly and possession of chemicals to manufacture drugs, aggravated trafficking in drugs, and aggravated possession of drugs. Police said they found powder and liquid methamphetamine in their apartment and materials to make the drug.

Two years ago, Mr. Doyle was arrested on similar charges after a traffic stop on North Detroit Avenue in which chemicals allegedly used to make the drug were found. The charges were dismissed after Common Pleas Judge Gene Zmuda granted Mr. Doyle’s motion to suppress evidence from what was determined to be an illegal search.
