Toledoan indicted on attempted arson

A Lucas County grand jury on Friday indicted a Toledo man on charges he tried to set fire to his ex-girlfriend’s home.

James Geyer, 26, of 2724 Eldora Dr. was indicted for aggravated arson, attempted aggravated arson, and arson for the June 7 incident at a Washington Township house trailer.

Police said he threw a gasoline-filled bottle at the trailer while three adults and four children were inside. The bottle landed near a gas meter before being kicked away by a witness who saw the incident.
