A Lucas County judge Wednesday declined to reduce the $25,000 bond set in Toledo Municipal Court for a Toledo woman charged with aggravated vehicular homicide.
Lora Staton, 34, of 504 W. Alexis Rd. pleaded not guilty before Common Pleas Judge Gary Cook, who appointed Toledo attorney Don Cameron to represent her and scheduled a pretrial hearing for Aug. 20.
Staton was allegedly intoxicated June 9 when she failed to stop for a stop sign at Recamper Drive and West Alexis Road and collided with a motorcycle driven by Vance Popp, 43, of Sylvania. Mr. Popp was killed.
