Man charged in shooting of Toledo teen

A Toledo man was indicted Friday in the robbery and shooting of a teenager.

Christopher Bourn, 41, of 1032 Lincoln Ave. was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury on charges of aggravated robbery and felonious assault in a July 22 incident near Dorr Street and Junction Avenue.

Jeffery Burks, 16, of Toledo told police he was with family members at a dollar store when he walked outside to wait for them, then got into a car with someone he knew. Two men inside the car reportedly tried to rob him, then shot him in the lower left back.
