Mr. Osley, 28, of Toledo was shot early Thursday outside Chez Joey, 715 Monroe St., and pronounced dead later at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. He was shot in the chest and arm, according to an affidavit.

Video surveillance outside the club showed Mr. Johnson left the club, went to his vehicle, but then walked back to the club, where he fired a handgun several times, the affidavit said.

Police said Mr. Johnson returned to his car and was arrested by officers after he began to drive away. A handgun was found in the vehicle and was consistent with shell casings found at the scene, the affidavit said.
