Toledoan pleads guilty to attempted arson
8/23/2014A Toledo man was convicted Friday in Lucas County Common Pleas Court of trying to set fire to his ex-girlfriend’s home.
James Geyer, 26, of 2724 Eldora Dr. pleaded guilty to attempt to commit aggravated arson. He will be sentenced on Oct. 8 by Judge Michael Goulding.
Police said Geyer threw a gasoline-filled bottle at a Washington Township house trailer June 7 while three adults and four children were inside. The bottle landed near a gas meter before being kicked away by a witness.
