Nearly three years after being charged with a North Toledo shooting, a Toledo man was found competent to stand trial Thursday.

Markus Robinson, 26, of the 200 block of Dexter Street was indicted on charges of aggravated burglary and felonious assault, both with firearm specifications, for a March 22, 2015, incident. Police alleged Mr. Robinson entered a home in the 300 block of East Park Street, waited for Dashine Jackson, 34, to arrive, then shot him on the front porch.

Mr. Robinson was twice found incompetent to stand trial and ordered to be treated at the Northwest Ohio Psychiatric Hospital. Lucas County Common Pleas Judge James Bates on Thursday found him competent to face the charges and scheduled his trial for April 10.
