Col. Steven Nordhaus is celebrated during his ‘Fini Flight’ at the Ohio Air National Guard base at Toledo Express Airport. Colonel Nordhaus is leaving command of the 180th Fighter Wing for a position at the Pentagon. His flight was scheduled to last more than an hour on Monday and was to be followed by a ceremony and reception. A Fini Flight is an Air Force member’s last flight in a specific aircraft as they leave a squadron or wing. Colonel Nordhaus flew in an F-16.
