Coroner’s rulings

The Lucas County coroner has ruled in the following deaths:

Joseph Bassett, 54, of Toledo, Dec. 29, in 800 block of Berry. Accidental, combined drug toxicity (morphine-heroin metabolite and others).

William Bell, 69, of Toledo, Feb. 23, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, subdural hematoma; deceased collapsed at home.

William Claus, 89, of Toledo, March 31, at University of Toledo Medical Center. Accidental, subdural hematoma; deceased had an unwitnessed fall at home.

Dewayne Cochran, 58, of Toledo, Jan. 10, at home. Accidental, combined drug toxicity (morphine-heroin metabolite and cocaine).

Horace Dunderman, Jr., 87, of Toledo, March 18, at Regency Hospital. Accidental, acute bronchopneumonia; deceased fell down stairs at home.

William Farrand, 56, of Toledo, Nov. 23, at University of Toledo Medical Center. Accidental, combined drug intoxication.

Mark Fessler, 54, of Toledo, Jan. 5, at home. Accidental, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; recent exposure to cocaine.

Christopher Gibson, 36, of Toledo, Dec. 7, at home. Accidental, combined drug toxicity.

Seraina Gillespie, 5 weeks, of Toledo, Feb. 21, at home. Undetermined, sudden unexplained infant death.

Theodore Hiles, 66, of Put-in-Bay, Ohio, Dec. 24, at University of Toledo Medical Center. Suicide, self-inflicted gunshot wound of head.

John Hill, 25, of Toledo, Dec. 9, at home. Homicide, gunshot wound of head.

Paula Hornsby, 52, of Toledo, Dec. 3, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Accidental, multiple blunt force trauma; deceased was in auto accident.

David Hush, 36, of Bellevue, Ohio, Feb. 6, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, complications of acute combined drug toxicity.

Thressea James, 26, of Toledo, Feb. 21, on Detroit at Willamont. Accidental, multiple blunt force injuries; deceased was struck by vehicle.

Shannon Johnson, 34, of Vermilion, Ohio, Dec. 30, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, anoxic encephalopathy due to probable drug intoxication (morphine).

George Kastner, 92, of Tiffin, Ohio, March 31, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, bilateral subdural hematomas; deceased had history of multiple recent falls.

Joyce Kissoff, 77, of Toledo, March 28, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Accidental, arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease; deceased fell at home.

Jesse Merritt, 56, of Toledo, March 13, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Accidental, cocaine intoxicity.

Sharon Merritt, 71, of Perrysburg, April 1, Ebeid Hospice. Accidental, complications of an acute subdural hematoma; deceased fell at home.

Marvin Mickey, 74, of Woodville, Ohio, March 28, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, craniocerebral injuries; deceased had fallen.

Lynneah Ousley-Millis, 3 months, of Holland, March 8, at ProMedica Flower Hospital. Undetermined, sudden unexplained infant death.

Marian Pena, 53, of Toledo, March 8, at ProMedica Flower Hospital. Pending, arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease.

Wilfred Perry, Jr., 87, of Toledo, April 8, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Accidental, complications of craniocerebral injuries; deceased had an unwitnessed fall.

Chevelle Rigg, 39, of Defiance, Ohio, Feb. 10, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, anoxic encephalopathy due to probable drug intoxication.

Patricia Shelton, 59, of Detroit, March 17, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, post traumatic seizure disorder; deceased fell down basement stairs suffering head injury.

Frank Sliwinski, 72, of Holland, March 7, at Anne Grady Center. Accidental, asphyxia due to aspiration of food material.

Joana Soule, 83, of Fostoria, Ohio, Jan. 1, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital. Accidental, arteriosclerotic cardiovascular disease; deceased fell at home.

Danton Stalnaker, 21, of Toledo, Jan. 11, at home. Accidental, recent cocaine intoxication.

Terrell Stiger, 28, of Toledo, April 12, in 3800 block of Branch. Accidental, acute alcohol toxicity.

Benjamin Streight, 23, of Oregon, Jan. 2, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Suicide, gunshot wound to head.

Sean Witt, 46, of Toledo, Jan. 12, at home. Accidental, combined ethanol and drug toxicity (morphine-heroin metabolite).

Charles Wilks, 49, of Toledo, Feb. 27, at home. Accidental, cocaine toxicity.

Michael Zacharias, 23, of Oregon, Dec. 27, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center. Accidental, combined drug intoxication (morphine-heroin metabolite and others).
