Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 4-16

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800. 

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.  

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Beagle mix, white/orange male, failed behavior evaluation — body handling, I-75 near Washington, running at large.

Boxer, orange/white male, aggressive/unsafe behavior, surrendered by Dominic Hundley because small child is in home.

“Pit bull” mix, white/black female, pound at capacity for “pit bull”-type dogs, Indiana, running at large.

“Pit bull,” orange/white male, pound at capacity for “pit bull”-type dogs, Willow, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, orange/white male, pound at capacity for “pit bull”-type dogs, Mott, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, black/white male, pound at capacity for “pit bull”-type dogs, Elmer, running at large.

Chow/sheltie mix, orange/black/white/gray female, failed behavior evaluation — food guarder, surrendered by Cynthia Rickman, 1000 block of Cresceus, Oregon, who was unable to keep it.

Lab mix, black male, failed behavior evaluation — body handling, surrendered by Terrance Osberger, who is moving.

Lab/shepherd mix, black/orange male, failed behavior evaluation — body handling, surrendered by Steven Glover, 40 block of Birckhead, who said dog runs away.

Jack Russell mix, brown/white male, history of biting, surrendered by Ann Lawrence, 3600 block of Kershaw.
