Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 12-24

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

"Pit bull," orange and white female, unlicensed, history of fighting, Indiana Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

"Pit bull," orange and white female, unlicensed, history of fighting, Southbriar Road, Toledo, running at large.

"Pit bull," gray female, unlicensed, pound at capacity for "pit bull"-type dogs, North Detroit Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

Dogs transferred

Dogs transferred Dec. 20 to Toledo Area Humane Society by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Chihuahua mix, orange and white female, Chase Street, Toledo, running at large.

Two "pit bull" mix puppies, both orange with white females, too young to be licensed, Chestnut Street, running at large.

Six Boxer mix puppies, five males and one female, orange/sable and white; dark brown with sable and black and white, too young to be licensed, Buckingham Street, running at large.

"Pit bull," black and brown female, unlicensed, stray, picked up by Toledo Police Department, location unspecified, running at large.
