Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 6-16

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed June 13 and 14 by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge:

"Pit bull," brown female, unlicensed, dog aggression, Wyman Street, Toledo, running at large.

"Pit bull," gray and white male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of injury, Rosedale Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

"Pit bull," orange and white female, unlicensed stray, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, West Bancroft Street, Toledo.

"Pit bull," orange male, owner requested euthanasia because of bite attempt, unlicensed, surrendered by Shelly Patton, East Park Street, Toledo.

Labrador retriever and "pit bull" mix, black and white female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because of age and illness, surrendered by Monica Espino, Chase Street, Toledo.

"Pit bull" mix, black and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Leybourn Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

Shih tzu mix, black and white male, unlicensed, bite attempt, Barrows Street, Toledo.

"Pit bull" mix, orange and white female, unlicensed stray, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Forest Avenue, Toledo.

Dog transferred

Dog transferred June 14 to Harry Houdini Husky Rescue by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Husky, gray and black and white female, unlicensed stray, Richards Road, Toledo.
