Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Pyrenees mix, tan male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia because of dog aggression, surrendered by Carmen Ruiz, Bartley Place, Toledo.

"Pit bull" mix, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of parvo, Walbridge Park, Toledo.

Dog transferred

Dog transferred Aug. 17 to Lucas County Pit Crew by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

"Pit bull" mix, white and orange male, unlicensed, Gibbons Street, Toledo, running at large.
