Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 9-14

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dog killed Sept. 12 by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge, if any:

German shepherd, black and tan male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia, dog was having seizures, becoming aggressive, surrendered by Ann Mick, Main Street, Toledo.

"Pit bull," white and brown female, Bancroft Street, Toledo, running at large.

"Pit bull" mix, orange and black female, Indianwood Circle, Maumee, running at large.

"Pit bull," orange and white female, Starr Avenue, Oregon.

"Pit bull" mix, tan male, stray, Crittenden Avenue, Toledo.

Dachshund mix, tan and white male, stray, Twin Oaks Drive, Toledo.

Chihuahua, white and tan male, Elmore Street, Toledo.


Dogs transferred

Dogs transferred Sept. 13 to Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet by Lucas County Dog Warden Julie Lyle:

Pomeranian mix, black female, stray, South Erie Street, Toledo.

Pug and beagle mix, orange and white female, Champlain Street, Toledo.

Poodle, white female, surrendered by Margaret Fitterer, Earl Street, Toledo.
