Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 2-26

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed Feb. 22 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

“Pit bull,” tan and white female, unlicensed, dog aggression, Angola Road, Holland, running at large.

Shepherd mix, tan and sable male, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, Washington Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, brown and white female, unlicensed, stray, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, Clay Avenue, Toledo.
