Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed April 22 and 23 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Beagle, black and tan male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog was old and sick, surrendered by Donald King, Dorcas Road, Holland.

“Pit bull,” black and white female, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, surrendered by Kassandra Grant, Brint Road, Sylvania.

“Pit bull,” tan and white female, unlicensed, stray, dog aggression, Woodstock Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, tan and black female, unlicensed, stray, dog aggression, Spencer Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” white and brindle female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Auburn Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

Dogs transferred

Dogs transferred April 23 to the Toledo Area Humane Society by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Labrador retriever, black and white, stray, Bronson Avenue, Toledo.

Eight German shepherd puppies, black and tan, strays, two females and six males, Tracy Street, Oregon.
