Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 5-23

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

American Eskimo mix, white male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (vomiting, not eating, very weak, not responding to medication/treatment), Main Street, Toledo, running at large.

American cattle dog mix, sable and white male, licensed, bite history, surrendered by Carl Peatee, Whittemore Street, Toledo.

Boxer, white and brindle female, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, Lagrange Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, brown and white female, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Amber Adkins, South Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, brown male, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (not responding to treatment, severe green nasal discharge, weak, blind) 4th Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, white and black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (bite history), surrendered by Jessica Yglesias, Colton Street, Toledo.

Labrador retriever, black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (age-related illness), surrendered by Rene Atanasio, Powhattan Parkway, Toledo.

Poodle mix, white male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia (age-related illness), surrendered by Reva Williams, White Street, Toledo.
