Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 6/20

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

The Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed June 17-18 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

“Pit bull,” white and black male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression, Cherry Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” red and white female, unlicensed, stray, bite attempt, North King Road, Springfield Township.

“Pit bull” mix, black male, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, Vinton Street, Toledo, running at large.

Labrador retriever mix, black and white male, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (advanced case of parvo, grave prognosis), Colburn Street, Toledo.

Dachshund mix, red male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia (aggression toward people), surrendered by Michal Nause, Clover Lane, Toledo.

Jack Russell Terrier mix, white and tan female, unlicensed, stray, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, Ramm Road, Whitehouse.

“Pit bull” mix, brown and brindle female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Starr Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

Norfolk terrier, white and black male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/resource guarder, Angola Road, Holland, running at large.

Italian greyhound mix, brown and black female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Superior Street, Toledo, running at large.
