Dogs for adoption:

These dogs are newly available for adoption at the Lucas County Dog Warden's Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. Listed are the name, breed, sex, and impound number. For information, call 419-213-2800. For a complete list of dogs available from the dog warden, go to www.lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. If you are searching for a lost dog, the office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Saturday. You must bring a photo ID to walk through the holding areas.

Beagle mix, brown and white female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (seizures, vomiting), surrendered by Sharon Young, Tracy Road, Walbridge.

Boxer, brown merle female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (health problems), surrendered by Jean Dixon, Chase Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, tan and brindle female, licensed, owner requested euthanasia (behavior problems, aggression), surrendered by Mylina Moya, Westway Street, Toledo.

German shepherd, white male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because of poor quality of life (severe hip dysplasia, pain), no transfer partners would take, surrendered by Karla Roberts, Nelson Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull” and pug mix, brindle and white male, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Christina Steinmetz, Linmore Street, Toledo.
