In hopes of finding more adoptive homes for more cats and kittens this month, the Toledo Area Humane Society is reducing its cat and kitten adoption fees to $10 every Thursday in August.

Cats are normally $60-$110 and kittens are $110. If you adopt two, the second adoption fee is 50 percent off.

The shelter is open Tuesday through Friday from noon until 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. It is at 1920 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee.
