Dogs killed

Dogs killed Sept. 9 and 10 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

Rottweiler and Sharpei mix, black and orange female, unlicensed, aggressive/ unsafe, Moore Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” tan and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog had a possible femur or pelvis fracture, extreme pain, and was weak and muscle-atrophied in rear legs, Douglas Road, Toledo, running at large.

Rottweiler, black and orange male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia because dog had cancer, surrendered by Elijah Nettles, Western Avenue, Toledo.

Siberian husky, white and gray female, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog had been hit by a car and had severe internal injuries, Glendale Avenue, Toledo.

Dog transferred

Dog transferred Sept. 11 to Planned Pethood from the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Labrador retriever and boxer mix, orange and white female, surrendered by January Barnes, York Street, Toledo.
