Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 9-27

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $50 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dog killed Sept. 24 by the Lucas County Dog Warden’s Office:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

German shepherd mix, black and white male, unlicensed, stray, veterinarian recommended euthanasia because dog was severely injured when it was hit by car, Bennett Road, Toledo.


Dogs transferred

Dog transferred Sept. 24 to Planned Pethood:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

Retriever mix, black male, stray, Summit Street, Toledo.

Dog transferred Sept. 21 to Schnauzer Rescue Cincinnati:

Schnauzer mix, tan and white male, stray, Dorr Street, Toledo.
