Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: December 27


Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

“Pit bull,” red and white male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia (bite history, dog aggression), surrendered by Keisha Williams, Walnut Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, white and brindle male, licensed, owner requested euthanasia (bite history), surrendered by Nichol Detlef, Kelsey Avenue, Toledo.

“Pit bull” mix, black and white male, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, Commonwealth Avenue, Toledo, stray.

German shepherd, black and tan male, unlicensed, fearful/​unsafe, Vinton Street, Toledo, stray.

German shepherd mix, black and tan female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (hip dysplasia, muscle atrophy, pain), Eldred Avenue, Toledo, stray.

Labrador retriever/​chow chow mix, brindle male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (spinal cord injury, unable to use rear leg, poor prognosis), Norwich Road, Toledo, stray.
