Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 1-11


Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.


Dogs transferred

Dogs transferred Jan. 9, 11, and 13 to Golden Retriever Rescue Resource, Planned Pethood, LOYAL Rescue, and Southeast Bloodhound Rescue at the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Golden retriever, orange male, Angola Road, Toledo, running at large.

Standard schnauzer mix, black and white male, Leybourn Avenue, Toledo, stray.

Smooth fox terrier, white and black male, Parker Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

Bloodhound, orange female, Oak Openings Preserve Metro-park, Swanton, running at large.
