Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 1-14

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

“Pit bull” mix, black and orange male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (dog had worsening neurological symptoms in front legs, difficulty walking, frequent falling), Palmwood Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” orange and white male, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (dog had generalized moderate to severe mange that was worsening despite treatment, poor prognosis), West Park Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, brindle and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, Starr Avenue, Toledo, stray.

German shepherd mix, black female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Cherry Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, gray and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder, Oak Street, Toledo, stray.

Chow chow mix, brindle male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling, Federal Street, Toledo, running at large.

Dogs transferred Jan. 10-12 to the Toledo Area Humane Society, Planned Pethood, LOYAL Rescue, and Great Lakes Weimaraner Rescue under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Boxer, brindle and white female, Broadway Street, Toledo, running at large.

Litter of seven “pit bull” puppies, four black and white females, three black and white males, surrendered by Josh Byrd, Homer Avenue, Toledo.

Smooth fox terrier, white and black male, Parker Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

Weimaraner, gray and white male, surrendered by Andrea Davis, Secor Road, Toledo.

Pointer/“pit bull” mix, white and brown female, Douglas Road, Toledo, running at large.
