Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed Feb. 19 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

Chow chow, black and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (dog had hip dysplasia, severe muscle wasting in rear legs, hair loss and matting, poor vision, weakness and pain, degenerative condition with poor prognosis), Highland Park, Toledo, stray.

Boxer, brindle female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (dog was hit by a car), Anthony Wayne Trail, Toledo, running at large.
