Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 3-28

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed

Dogs killed March 25-26 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

German shepherd, black and tan male, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, surrendered by Charles Skiles, South Shore Boulevard, Oregon.

“Pit bull,” brown and black male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/food guarder (scored 5 out of 5, evaluated March 25), Airport Highway, Toledo, running at large.

German shepherd mix, black male, Thornton Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

Mastiff mix, black and white male, surrendered by Michael Bayer, Wyndham Drive, Whitehouse.

Catahoula leopard dog mix, blue merle and white male, Kilburn Road, Sylvania, stray.

German shepherd mix, orange and white female, Summit Street, Toledo, stray.

“Pit bull” mix, tan and white male, surrendered by Aerial Twining, Mason Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” brown and white female, Francis Avenue, Toledo, running at large.
