This dog is newly available for adoption at Lucas County Canine Care & Control, 410 South Erie St., Toledo.

Listed are the name, breed, sex, and impound number. For information, call 419-213-2800. For a complete list of dogs available for adoption, go to www.lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. If you are searching for a lost dog, the office is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. You must bring a photo ID to walk through the holding areas.

Dogs killed March 31 and April 1 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

American bulldog mix, white and orange male, unlicensed, fearful/unsafe, Broadway Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull,” black and white male, unlicensed, aggressive/unsafe, Avondale Avenue, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, white and black female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/quality of life (dog had spinal injury, paralyzed in both rear legs, grim prognosis), Chapin Street, Toledo, running at large.

“Pit bull” mix, black and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling (scored 5 out of 5 on March 31), Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, running at large.
