Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Dogs killed May 6 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

“Pit bull,” brindle and black male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (scored 4 out of 4 on April 28), North Summit Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Boxer, brindle and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (scored 4/​4 on May 5), Cleveland Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.
