Dogs killed June 3-4 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

“Pit bull,” brindle and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (scored 4/​4 on May 19), Almeda Drive, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

“Pit bull,” tan and white female, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, Walbridge Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Labrador retriever, black female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (scored 4 out of 4 on June 2), surrendered by Michael Lee, Beck Road, Ottawa Lake.

“Pit bull,” white and brown male, unlicensed, aggressive/​unsafe, Navarre Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Shetland sheepdog, white and gray female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (elderly with age-related illness), surrendered by Jerome Rymers, Pontiac Street, Toledo.
