Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 6-14

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

Boxer mix, brindle and white male, Paxton Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

 

Maltese/​toy poodle mix, white female, Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, stray picked up by a control officer.

 

Chihuahua, orange male, Pearson Metropark, Oregon, stray brought to the shelter.

 

Boxer, brindle female, North Michigan Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

“Pit bull,” black and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​resource guarder (scored 3/​5 on June 10), Mettler Street, Toledo, stay picked up by a control officer.

 

German shepherd/​Siberian husky mix, tan male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​body handling (scored 4/​5 on June 11), South Reynolds Road, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

 

“Pit bull,” brown and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​body handling (scored 3/​5 on June 11), Birmingham Terrace, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Mastiff, brindle and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (scored 4/​4 on June 11), Mansfield Road, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

 

“Pit bull,” white and orange female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (severe, generalized, and worsening ringworm suggestive of underlying immune system problem, highly contagious to humans and other animals, no transfer partner able to take), Hawley Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.
