Dogs killed

Dogs killed June 24 under the direction of Lucas County Canine Care & Control Director Julie Lyle:

 

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable). Dogs killed for poor behavior are scored on a scale up to 5, with higher scores being more aggressive:

 

Chihuahua, tan and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/body handling (scored 5 out of 5 on June 10), Elm Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

 

“Pit bull,” white and black female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (scored 4/4 on June 17), South Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

 

“Pit bull” mix, brindle and white male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/dog aggression (scored 4/4 on June 23), Hampton Avenue, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Mastiff mix, brindle male, Nevada Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.
