Dogs killed

Dogs killed July 7 and July 8 by the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office:

Breed and description; location seized; charge (if applicable):

“Pit bull,” black and gray male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (scored 4 out of 4 on July 7), North Detroit Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Boxer, black and white male, unlicensed, fearful/​unsafe, Robinwood Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Chow chow and golden retriever mix, tan male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (elderly dog was in pain and had difficulty walking), surrendered by Keith Never, Larchmont Street, Erie, Mich.

German shepherd, tan female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (dog had an old hip problem, weight loss, and was unable to walk), surrendered by Tyler Lebowsky, Finch Street, Toledo.

Yorkshire terrier mix, gray and tan male, unlicensed, Illinois Avenue, Maumee, stray picked up by a control officer.

Cairn terrier, black female, unlicensed, Mitchaw Road, Sylvania, stray brought to shelter.

German shepherd, black and tan male, unlicensed, Clark Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

German shepherd mix, brown and black female, Starr Avenue, Oregon, stray picked up by a control officer.

Chihuahua, black and tan female, Manhattan Plaza, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Boxer, white female, Dunwood Court, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.
