Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

“Pit bull,” white and orange female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​resource guarder (scored 4/​5 on July 2), West Central Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Labrador retriever, brown male, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Robert Brown, Woodstock Lane, Holland.

Chow chow/​German shepherd mix, orange and brown male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (aggressive/​unsafe), surrendered by Michelle Hiltman, 104th Street, Toledo.

Rottweiler, black and orange female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (elderly, mass on side), surrendered by Colleen Klocek, North Erie Street, Toledo.

German shepherd mix, brown and black male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (aggressive/​unsafe, bite history), surrendered by William Greif, Idaho Street, Toledo.

American bulldog, white male, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Kerry Lilly, Freedom Street, Toledo.

Chow chow mix, orange and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (elderly, emaciated, generalized severe muscle wasting, difficulty getting up and standing, painful and weak rear legs and hips, severe chronic dermatitis, very poor prognosis), Hill Avenue, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

“Pit bull” mix, black and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (tested positive for highly contagious parvovirus, no transfer partner able to take), Huron Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.
