Parson Russell terrier, white and tan female, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (elderly, difficulty getting around), surrendered by Carolyn Owens, Acoma Drive, Toledo.

 

“Pit bull,” brown and white female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (tested positive for highly contagious parvovirus, no transfer partner able to take), Byrneport Drive, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

 

German shepherd mix, black and tan female, unlicensed, veterinarian recommended euthanasia/​quality of life (seizures, hair loss), Earl Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

 

“Pit bull,” orange and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​dog aggression (scored 3 out of 4 on Aug. 2), Burnham Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Pointer mix, black and white male, unlicensed, attempted to bite inmate trainer in Prisoners Helping Dogs program at Toledo Correctional Institution, Digby Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

 

“Pit bull,” black and white male, unlicensed, owner requested euthanasia (aggressive/​unsafe), surrendered by Crystal Smith, Hartman Street, Toledo.
