Lucas County Dogs for Adoption: 8-21

Dogs remain available at the Lucas County Canine Care & Control Office, 410 South Erie St., Toledo. For information, call 419-213-2800.

For a complete list of available dogs, go to lucascountydogs.petfinder.com. A $100 adoption fee includes spay-neuter, a heartworm check, microchip ID, vaccinations, and a behavioral evaluation.

“Pit bull,” black male, unlicensed, bite history, surrendered by Michelle Dail, Louie Street, Toledo.

“Pit bull,” orange and white female, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​resource guarder (scored 4 out of 5 on Aug. 18), Earl Street, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

American bulldog, white and brown male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​body handling (scored 5/​5 on Aug. 18), Dexter Street, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

“Pit bull,” white and black male, unlicensed, failed behavior evaluation/​food guarder (scored 5/​5 on Aug. 17), Auburn Avenue, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

“Pit bull,” black and white male, Douglas Road, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.

Litter of three “pit bull” mix puppies, one white and black female, two black females, Putnam Street, Toledo, strays brought to the shelter.

Pointer mix, white and tan female, Tremainsville Road, Toledo, stray picked up by a control offier.

“Pit bull” mix, tan female, with her litter of four puppies, two tan and white females, one gray and white female, one brown and white male, surrendered by Collette Wattley and Alex Alexander, South Avenue, Toledo.

Chihuahua, brindle female, surrendered by John Preciada, West Bank Road, Toledo.

German shepherd, black female, Geneva Avenue, Toledo, stray brought to the shelter.

Siberian husky mix, black and tan female, Marmion Avenue, Toledo, stray picked up by a control officer.
